The entire premise here is flawed from the start . Why all of you are arguing this minutia
is irrelevant.

There is no relationship between anyone who served or avoided the military and their community service, and contribution to society.

The flawed premise is one of qualification or lack of

Sly postulates that no one is qualified to make statements unless they served , that is a false notion

Years ago, airline pilots touted that only those who came from the military are qualified to be commercial pilots , that notion was false .

Now pilots are trained on simulators and they are doing just fine.
