So whenever I read an article about target funds, I often come across Vanguard and T. Rowe Price. While these funds are well managed, I believe that the Banc of America target funds have much more potential during a period of economic growth. Over the past 2 years, BFHZX has outperformed its comparable fund, VTIVX, by almost 10%. As the U.S. economy slowly emerges from this recessionary time, I feel BFHZX has a much higher risk reward benefit than comparable target funds.

I am new to retirement investing, so this is an amateur opinion. Let me know what you think if you have any thoughts!
