ETF expenses are much lower than mutual funds. You can also trade anytime without the hassle of waiting until end of day and several days for settlement. I compared the charts for TWMIX, VWO, & EEM and volatility is about the same with better returns on ETF's. You also avoid the advisor fee which is like throwing money out the window for active traders. Albeit, advisors do help folks that don't have a good grasp on the markets. I just would like to find one that beats the market averages. Here is some data on above funds:
twmix eem vwo 1 year 48.8% 56.6% 57.3% Exp 1.8% 0.7% 0.3% BTW, I could not make a TWMIX trade at Fidelity. I plan to hold my current position as TWMIX is a good core holding to leave alone for the long term. Sentiment : Hold Rating :
