I've been in this fund for little over a month and It's down 12%. Is it the mattress from here? I read that even brokerage money market funds are experiencing large redemptions because of the risk. My American stock fund recently went from a Morningstar 3-star fund to 5-star status because it's "only" down 40%. The 5 stars aren't going to send my kids to college. And I'm not so confident that this fund will earn 24% any time soon, which it will need to do just for me to break even after a 12% drop.

I understand there are "rumors" that we may be headed into a recession. I'm glad to hear we're not there yet, because this is the worst I've seen in 40 years.
