Covered call funds that pay monthly are DPO and IGD. Both pay around 15% annually, but are at premiums. High-yield bond cef's that pay monthly: HIX, EAD, PHT. JNK is monthly also, which is a high-yield bond ETF. They all pay around 12 - 13%. Convertible CEF's that pay around 13% and pay monthly are NCV and NCZ. Few open end mutual funds other than ADVDX have high yields. There may be some out there, but I don't know them. Rating :
