I am interested to hear what type of investors buy or are interested in the Julius Baer U.S. Microcap A fund. What draws you to this fund?

Allow me to speak first to get the ball rolling:

I was looking for a potential high growth fund to "beat time". That is to say, I began investing later in life, and due to some bad timing (or bad luck, depending on how you look at it), have not had great returns. I was fully invested at the time of 9/11/01 when the Twin towers attack occured, and lost a considerable amount I had gained prior to that point.

The Julius Baer company has a long respected reputation, and the Julius Baer Microcap A (from now on, JBA Micro for short) seems like a way to potentially gain time on the market, albeit at considerable risk.

The fund has been down in the early going since it's inception, but may have good upside potential, very fast, in the recovery period after the projected upcoming U.S. recession.
