This fund has done extremely well over time. By following the Islamic principals, it will not invest in gambling, tobacco, pron, etc (as someone else mentioned), but they also will not invest in insurance (a form of gambling?), interest charging or paying businesses, such as banks.

I don't pretend to understand why, but somehow that has worked for this fund. They also do not "kill the infidel", as their managers would not otherwise survive, LOL.

Somehow, when doing my research a few years ago, I didn't catch that Islamic thingie, and bought in, did well, etc. I still own some, but cut back my exposure to this fund.
