I'm new to ETFs, and I put together a short list of ETFs that I'm going to use to supplement my long term stock portfolio and my kids education fund (10 year time range). I'm buying into VTI and VIG as long term investments, and XLE and XLF as value pics, given that energy prices have nowhere to go but up and the financials are beaten down and ready to rally. Thoughts anyone? Thanks!
