For the past six months I've been working on a Personal Mutual Fund of sorts focused on: Alternative Energy (Solar, Wind, Geo-thermal), Infrastructure Efficiency, Electric Grid Efficiency, and Lithium Ion - Plug-in Hybrid Technology. Well, almost all of my top picks - over 25 companies -each with the potential to skyrocket tenfold are contained within the Powershares ETF - symbol - PBW - The Wilderhill Clean Energy Portfolio.

This ETF, along with everything else in this crazy market, has been battered recently. PBW topped out earlier this year at $28 and is now currently trading for $8 a share.

I don't believe we've reached the bottom in PBW or the overall market in general. In my humble opinion, we will most likely retest Dow 8000 and if that breaks we could easily see Dow 7000.

If this happens, I think PBW (along with many, many other equities) will be an absolute steal. If you believe in the possible implementation of the Obama/Gore 10 year energy plan that would usher in a New Deal-like government re-investment in our Infrastructure Efficiency and Alternative Energy solutions, PBW could be a great way to go.

Do your own research of course, but if you believe in the inevitable Green Revolution and want to help support it - PBW is a simple and less risky way to invest in the Alternative Energy sector.
