Are PID (and ADRs in general) safe havens when the dollar tanks against other currencies? Or are ADRs just dollar-denominated assets that decline in value with all other dollar-based assets? Does the "International" in PID provide any protection as the Saudis and Chinese dump their greenbacks?

Those three questions all ask pretty much the same thing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
