I may be a minority of one but it seems to me that Doonesbury is known to be satirical and therefore poking fun at fundamentalist Christians and not anti-Semitic. I mean, it's a cartoon strip!

In contrast, www.deepcapture.com is serious as a heart attack. Take a brief look at "Bernard Madoff, The Mafia & The Friends of Michael Milken" for the extensive list of Jewish villains. This site is financed and run by Dr. Patrick Byrne, the CEO of Overstock.com, a public company based in Salt Lake City traded on NASDAQ under the symbol OSTK. Believe it or not, Dr. Byrne and another officer of Overstock.com, Judd Bagley, posed as Jews on Wikipedia to alter the biographies of prominent Jews and to attempt to infiltrate "The Mega Club" of Jewish billionaires who supposedly control the world. Dr. Byrne has claimed that the Israeli Mafia controls 75% of the world's trafficking in Ecstasy. Think Lyndon LaRouche.

Dr. Byrne is reportedly considering running for Governor of Utah and has close ties to many prominent politicians, including Gov. Huntsman, the new China emissary, and Utah Attorney General Mark Shurtleff.

Thus, as I see it, the real threat is not from Doonesbury but rather from a self-financed serious anti-Semite seeking political power in America. The ADL would do better to take serious threats seriously and to laugh with Gary Trudeau at the fundamentalist Christians.
