From what I've observed the last few months, in general, I do like the opportunity that this company offers but making a buck in my situation can still be hard.

I've been viewing historic auction final prices and flagging different stuff w/ the intent to resell.

My ob is that the more high end stuff like Coach bags and North Face jackets auction off at such a high price that I calculated it difficult for them to be worth my trouble. I'm incl.ing LQDT's 5% and the $40.25 ship. The North Face jackets were litteraly break even or loss at an avg. est. Ebay sell price of $175 each. Of course, I'm just a guy trying to turn over some stuff on Ebay, not someone in retail who, I presume, has a better chance at selling these things in a high end environment w/ time on their side and w/ $200+ tags attached.

So...I've moved on from those items and gone down the chain of opportunity and discovered some other stuff worth bidding on.

I do want to mention that there are clearly misrepresented products being auctioned off. Perhaps these are the minority but, still, they're claiming to be the real thing and a little more policing and integrity would be nice for a publicly traded co. Luckily I Googled fake ____ first and didn't bid. One of the biggest offenders is the fake Mac make-up from China. Day after day $1000-$1200 lots fire off and, ka-ching...another 5% in the till.

The thing is, the Ebay community has fought back against fakes by mentioning "beware of fakes" and "authentic" in their title listings. More and more the large lots of fake Mac go unsold.
