Exxon may or may be not be able to defend its turf in these circumstances as in other unstable areas but IOC has no prior experience operating in a nation wracked by murderous xenophobic mobs intent on expelling or exterminating Asians in PNG.

That's also bullish for IOC. A new broom sweeps clean, beginner's luck, no prior defeats, fresh start, etc.
